Slip Additives SILTECH^®: SILTECH^® C 7014

Description

Siltech^®®C-7014 is a 100% active silicone hydride fluid that is primarily used to eliminate cratering.

• Refractive Index: 1.400
• Diluents: Aromatic, aliphatic & chlorinated solvents

Siltech^®®C-7014 is used in solvent based coatings and inks formulations to eliminate cratering, reduce orange peel and eliminate fisheyes. It also prevents pigment floating and provides mar resistance.

The amount of Siltech^®®C-7014 used ranges from 0.01-0.1% weight percent based on total solids and is ideally added during final let-down.
