Leveling and flow-out Additives - SILTECH^® : SILTECH^® C 172

Description

Siltech^®®C-172 is a 100% active carbinol functional silicone glycol copolymer that is primarily used to improve leveling and mar resistance in solvent based systems.

Siltech^®®C-172 is designed for use in both solvent based and solvent free systems. It increases surface slip, improves leveling, gloss, substrate wetting & gives anti blocking benefits. It also prevents formation of Bernard cells and reduces the surface tension. It provides benefits that are not obtainable with conventional silicone oil additives.

The recommended concentration used is 0.05%-0.15% weight percent based on total solids.
